A word of welcome from the Mayfield Festival's Artistic Director
Festivals are ubiquitous!
Festivals are a gift to the
community. Festivals celebrate harmony - communally
and artistically.
The 2008 Festival is perhaps one of the most ambitious
festivals to date. I believe there is something for
everyone; so let's celebrate!
I wish to record my personal thanks to our sponsors
and also to the Festival Committee whose generosity of
spirit makes the Mayfield Festival the special event it has
become and of which it can be so proud.
Once again our 2008 Festival introduces young exciting
talent alongside seasoned international artists. Please
join me in supporting your Festival which I am sure will
enrich - and may even enrage - your artistic values.
